I had mine down pat until I took this Mod job. Don't get me wrong, its not hard and I love it... but I have some work to do one the balance department...

1. I still have enough time for the Wife. She's around when I am doing the RX. That's no biggie. I've been working different hours since taking it though and its allowed me less time to do little things for her. Like on days she works (nurse-12 hour night shift) I us lunch when she gets up and I pack her dinner. I've been slacking on that. But otherwise, still making enough time for her.

2. Fitness. I sit 30-35 hours a week at my "real" job. Then I come here and sit for another 30-35 hours a week on the forum. I am not a small guy, but I feel like I am eating worse/more and excercising less since I started.
Love to hear from others that sit all day on how they deal with this...

3. I ALWAYS take my work home with me. I don't mind getting things done when I have the time at home. Now I find my self on the RX even when I am not scheduled... like Now.. its 1pm.. don't come on until 4...

4. I need ME time. I love having time to myself and doing whatever it is I want. I've found myself up at 3-4am every night the last 2 weeks.

5. My social life is still the same. Enough to be fulfilling.

But because of #3 and #4, my sleeping schedule is awful. I'm exhausted. Most tired I've been. I am going to have to learn how to take naps. Not something I do. If I take a "nap", takes me 30 mins to fall asleep.. I have to sleep for 1.5 hours at least. I wake up in an awful mood... but little later I am completely reengerized. Need to shorten that cycle.

I have a lot of improving to do.

Mine isnt so bad now that i'm used to it, been doing it for 7.5 years now. I work from 3:30pm to 11:30pm mon-fri. My wife works part-time from 8-4:15ish on tues, wed, and friday. We have a two year old daughter so the hours help us avoid childcare costs, and my mom enjoys keeping our daughter for 2 hours 3 days a week.
By the time i get home from work around midnight, wife and daughter are asleep and i usually watch tv or browse the RX to wind down and then get to sleep by 1:30am or so, and then i'm up by 8am at the latest when my daughter wakes up. The only me time i get is when my daughter takes a nap (right now). On the weekends during football season especially, i encourage my wife to run errands, visit her family or whatever for my me time. I play golf every thursday morning when the weather allows
