Fantasy Advice

Just wondering what you guys would do. I have been trying to decide all week and can't figure out what I want to do. People that are listed in bold are no brainers. But the other guys I can't decide what to do. All year I have rolled with Brandon Lloyd and Desean Jackson at WR. And Benson and somebody else at flex. However, with the emergence of Kevin Smith being a starting running back and Nate Washington finally being healthy I don't know what to do. I finished 1st in the regular season and am playing for the championship this week.

Brandon Lloyd
Desean Jackson
Mario Manningham
Nate Washington
Ray Rice
Frank Gore
Aaron Hernandez
Cedric Benson
Kevin Smith
Janikowski
Ravens D

So with 3 open spots in my lineup. Which 3 would you roll with out of:
Desean Jackson vs. Dallas
Mario Manningham vs. New York Jets
Nate Washington vs. Jacksonville
Cedric Benson vs. Arizona
Kevin Smith vs. San Diego

Am I forced to keep going with Desean because of his big play ability or risk it with Nate Washington who has put up some big numbers lately and is clearly Tennessees number one guy? Hell I am thinking about sitting Brandon Lloyd vs. Pitt.

Well I have been thinking that all week but also think that Nate Washington is the more safe play. If I roll with Desean I can still put Nate in at flex but then have to decide between Cedric Benson and Kevin Smith. I guess Mario Manningham is out of the picture because he is playing the Jets. Also think he has a nagging injury...

Problem with Nate Washington is they are a run-first offense. If CJ is running well, you could get nothing from Nate. Manningham is doubtful so he's eliminated from here. The Fantasyguru site has DJax and Nate ranked even. I would play Benson and K Smith for sure as they will get you touches. If its PPR, you want K Smith in for sure. Since D Jax isn't the #1 in Philly anymore, i go with Benson, K Smith, and N Washington.

The Jax secondary has 3 FA's playing so that helps also.

It is PPR. I am thinking that I could roll with Desean, Nate, Kevin Smith. Leaving Benson on the bench, but damn I really want him in there vs. Zona. Still really unsure what to do.

i would never bench a starting RB for a #2 WR, especially how the offense goes thru Benson. I can see Benson getting 80-100 rush with a TD far easier than DJax. I had DJax this year for the last 6 games and he was only getting 40-60/game.

Benson is the highest rated of the players you are considering. I would narrow it down to K Smith vs DJax. SD is giving up a lot of recs to the RBs. K Smith has 2 ways to score while DJax isn't scoring at all lately.

Agreed, but you do have to figure in that Dallas Secondary. That being said, I can see the revenge factor being huge in this game for what Philly did to the Boys earlier this year. Defense might come out and shut shit down. Not to mention what is riding on this game for the Boys....

He isn't the number 1 rec anymore either. The way he will score is long TDs. Vick, McCoy, Maclin and Celek will get the ball in the red zone before DJax

Yea man. Harvin/Gates/Pitt D killed me. Lost by 6 and they had a combined like 8 points. 3rd place game and I dont even really care. To the original poster, I go Nate Washington, Benson, and Kevin Smith although Im not confident he can stay healthy

You really need some karma at the end. Won a titlle last year by 7 yards when AP sat out the MNF game vs Chicago.

Yea man, a lot just comes down to luck. Thought it would be on my side after bad beats i took thru out the year. Lost to a guy who started Michael Bush when i started DMC they game DMC gets hurt. Lost two games by .5 each. Thought it was finally my turn. Pitt D didn't have a sack, int, fumble, return, nothing. Horrible. But got to love fantasy, makes the whole season way more interesting, especially as the Skins sit in last place as usual

WELP.

As of right now I am up by like 2 points.

I have Kevin Smith and Gore playing right now with Drew Brees Monday night.

He has Vick, Sammy Morris, Antonio Gates, Laurent Robinson and Dan Baily playing right now. With Julio Jones going Monday night.

I am sitting on FUCK. I wound up playing Brandon Lloyd, Nate Washington, Benson and Kevin Smith. Brandon Lloyd and Cedric Benson absolutely KILLED ME. Of course I knew better than to switch up my lineup from what I played all year. Desean Jackson already in one half has more points than Lloyd, Washington or Benson. Fuck my fucking life and I am a fucking dipshiut. Unless Smith and Gore combine for about 25-30 points in the 2nd half I have no shot.

WOW. Looks like I spoke a little soon. All 5 players he had going didn't do SHIT in the 2nd half while I got tds from Kevin Smith and Gore.

I have a 108-103 lead going into Monday night and I have Brees and he has Julio Jones. Crazy how things can turn like that. I know yall don't give two shits but thanks everybody for the input, looks like I should have stayed with Desean but it may not matter as long as Brees does his thing on Monday night and Julio doesn't go for 40+
