How about the other way around? Suppose the Jaguars lay down so they make sure that the Colts don't get the #1 pick?

Since they're in the same division, why would they want to have a Luck facing them like they've had Manning the last ten years? Could be a possibility you know. After the way Manning has beaten them up the last ten years, why would they they want a Luck to face them the next ten years. Think about it!

Some people say fans who root for their teams to lose when they are out of it in order to get a high draft pick are not true fans.

I say any fan who still roots for their team to win and blow a shot at a top draft pick is stupid!

At some point you have to be realistic and accept it when you're team simply isn't that good and need to get better any way they can.

As a Bucs fan we have lost 9 games in a row.
I will be furious if they go into Atlanta and pull an upset the last week of the season to hurt their draft position...

you have to look at the current active roster

how many of them are secure enough in their jobs and the $ they will get paid going forward to lay down for 6% of their yearly resume?

if i'm trying to "make it" in the nfl and earn a big contract, i'm not worrying about the draft, or my team's chances of getting a guy that might be the next Peyton or might be the next Ryan Leaf

I'm just gonna try to control what I can control...... when I strap it on, i'm going 100% all out
