At the end of the Toledo Vs Air Force Game...

Air Force scored a TD with 52 secs left. Extra Point ties it... While they are lined up for the FG, you see the AF coach taking off his headset and stuff, ABSOLUTELY telling us they are going for 2...this is for the game...

WHAT WAS HE THINKING?

I am glad they didn't get it.

Didn't watch it but... why would taking off his headset indicate a fake?

because extra point TIES the game.... and he keeps coaching

by taking off the headset he indicated that this play would decide the game and this his coaching day is done

Are you sure, you aren't reading too much into it? Is it really that uncommon to take the headset off for whatever reasons just for a moment? It's not like he was supposed to give his QB another call from the sideline there and could have just put the headset back on after the PAT.

No, you could tell the way he did it. it was a rush, he was jogging down the sidelines, like he was ready to celebrate witht he team. I would of bet everything i owed that the fake was coming....

Thing is-the fake worked so what did it matter? Secondly, the players aren't looking over to the sideline right before the play. If its a 1 point game, and a bowl game where there is nothing more to play for, the coaches have already told the players to be careful of the fake. Just didnt catch the pitch is all/pitch a bit offline

looked like the DE and Linebacker moved in that direction like they knew the fake was coming, as soon as the ball was snapped. Or maybe it was a good educated guess since XPts' are rarely blocked or missed..unless youre a Boise St kicker and you get paid some decent money

Butter fingers. Guess the kid was a nervous wreck once he knew he had it. Or at least thought he did
