Backup Texas Rangers’ catcher, Yorvit Torrealba was handed a
66 game suspension by League president, Jose Grasso Vecchio for shoving a Venezuelan winter league umpire in the face after striking out. The suspension would end Torrealba’s season, and carries through the end of next season.
Foreign suspensions do not directly carry over to the MLB season, but something as classless as this could depending on what side of the bed Bud Selig crapped in this morning.
For The Record: Who gets thrown out of a game for arguing after a swinging strike 3? That’s some Milton Bradley anger.
