I voted to trade the pick. Read that Luck's rights could be worth up to 3 #1 picks plus other picks. Colts should look into this so they can rebuild as they have so many needs. If they can't make a deal, they have to take Luck.

its really not a bad option...esp if they KNOW manning is gonna be healthy....trade it to a team who desperately wants to move up for their first and second...next years 1st etc

if you draft well is helps rebuild your team for the future and it kills any and all qb battles discussions etc...

Trade the pick for D , mathis and freeny are getting old. Change this Tampa style D. It is going to be interesting who bids/offers what for that pick.

Anyone picking anything other than "Andrew Luck" or "Trade The Pick" needs their head examined.

I would trade the pick if Manning is back. If not, pick Luck.

Trade Manning and any other older vet who is worth a damn, and start from scratch.

Assuming they think Manning can play three or four more years, they should trade the pick for a few defensive players or draft Justin Blackmon.

Gotta take luck - you get yourself great qb for next decade.

Combine all of the answers above and there is your answer.

Even if Manning comes back what happens when he's gone in 2-3 years?

Whether they trade Peyton or keep him it doesn't matter they need to take Luck either way.

UNLESS.... Another team makes an offer of draft picks for Manning that is just too good to turn down.

When you think of that big fat QB from LSU the Raiders drafted #1 Sam Bradford #1 either RGIII or Luck are heads & tails above most of the #1 QB's drafted in the recent past. It's close between Luck and the Heisman both are fabulous but Luck is the slightly better choice, he was great against OSU. If the pick Luck Manning to Miami would be a good fit!

There are other QBs in the draft other than Luck. 2-3 years is plenty of time to groom someone learning under Manning. If you remember, there was a guy drafted by the Packers quite a few years ago who sat and learned from a legend and is now one of the best in the game. The colts WILL draft a QB this year, there is no question about that. But it does not have to be Luck, especially if Manning returns...
