Alabama isn't going to beat them in their own state when they couldn't even beat them at Alabama.

No way this line ever gets to Bama -3. Vegas line has been - 1 1/2 for over a week now but today I saw quite a few -1 out there. LSU should be favored and I wouldn't be surprised to see this line swing LSU's way closer to game time ! Grab the LSU + 1 1/2 or get some teasers at + 7 1/2 going for you. Gaming today came out with an article which stated that only about 5 % of the $$ has been laid down at this time. I'm sure it's still under 15 % today.

I've been predicting from the day the line was set that it will be LSU-2 - 2 1/2 at game time... I still believe that... Money will come pouring in Monday...You can get +2 at SIA right now

Redeye is more often right than wrong as I've known him for over 30 years now. If you like LSU, now is the time to pounce. It's not going to Bama -3 ! I love the LSU and plus $$.

What difference does it make what state its played in? The crowd is going to be very loud either way. I never fully understood home field advantage. I always think the better team will win but more times than not, the home team wins. But in this case, i just don't see the state mattering. But i still don't see how people can lean either way after how close the first game was and how LSU got that int on a trick play-where the wideout had the ball in his hands and had it taken away, during a drive where bama was rolling. Seems the teams are very similar after re-watching that first game

They're right, not going to see a 3 on this game. Going to cost you to get that number. And while the college 3 isn't near as powerful as the NFL 3 the books don't want to see that number hit the board. Not going to happen.

Like Alabama here. If it comes down to coaching they've got a major edge. Even if it doesn't they're the more complete team IMO. Also bet U41. Alabama 20-13.

I was hoping to have +money whatever on Bama with everyone loving LSU so much yet obviously the books don't care for LSU action.

Are you saying Bama will be a dog by game time?

Agreed. The same thing happened last year with Auburn/Oregon. Auburn was hovered around -3 until the day of the game when most of the money came in and the line steamed to around Auburn -1. Could see the same thing happening here.

I guarantee that anything -3 and under is good. Anyone that knows anything about college football and knows how Nick Saban coaches.. these kids will NOT lose twice in the same season, to the same team. No way in hell.

NOT a fan of either. But, you're chasing a fools dream by underestimating "The Hat", many have done so & regretted it. If anything I think Saban is a tad overrated, tho a great CFB coach. I do think the Tigers D will shut down Richardson this time. They also have maybe 2 of the best CBs to ever play on one tm IMO. Tide has a GREAT OL, IMO that's the key matchup, vs that front 4 of LSU. This has the making of an awesome game. Just hope they score more than FGs. BOL to all on both sides. I'm just going to watch. Does #7, go down in LSU lore along w/Billy C???

It's difficult to beat the same great team twice in the same year but it happens all the time. The " No way in Hell " statement is not going to mean anything when these two teams take the field on Monday. Nobody thought the Red sox could beat the mighty Yankees 3 straight but guess what happened. The Ravens have beat the Steelers already twice this year and they will most likely have to do it 3 times this year.Les Miles beat Sabin last year and once again this year and both times Bama was favored. Both are great coaches. However I don't see how you can be so sure that Bama will win this game ? LSU definetly played a tougher schedule and went 13-0. LSU beat Bama at Bama. LSU will have an advantage as far as the game being played in their home State. There is no question there will be more LSU fans at the game than Bama fans. I also think LSU has the better defense. Bama is Number 1 and LSU number 2 but LSU has done it against better teams. Stats don't always tell the whole story but it's very close either way. Smart $$ will come in late and it will come in on the LSU side IMHO.

Kermit, the writing is on the wall. Despite a pretty clear consensus of the public picking LSU across the board, the books have made the #2 team in the country a favorite in the home state of the #1 team in the country. Can LSU win? Of course- they are a great team and have one of the best secondaries I have seen in college football.. ever. Maybe I let my enthusiasm get the best of me. I am very confident Alabama wins.
