It would be nice if someone could help me with an operational problem I seem to have with this website. I requested help via the contact us tab on the website but I received no reply at my email address.
What happens is I log in then if I try to post I may be allowed but when I try to post a second time I get a message that I’m not logged on. Sometimes I can re-enter my login info and continue and other times the system refuses to recognize me. At that point leaving the site and coming back works sometimes and other times I have to do a full reboot in order to be allowed to log in.
I joined a week ago so if it has something to do with a limited access registration I’d appreciate an explanation of how that might work.
I’ve tried logging in with the remember me box checked and with it not checked. It makes no difference; I have this problem over and over. I think the most I’ve been able to do without logging back in is 3 posts but most of the time I don’t even get that far. I’m not leaving the website between these occurrences so it isn’t a natural separation that I’m doing via navigation. In fact I’ve tried navigating in different ways. Using the back button, selecting the forum heading from inside a thread, using the forum pull down tabs, the end result is always the same. I end up being asking to login and the login not being accepted.
It isn’t just trying to post that causes the request for me to log in. I run into the same problem if I click on a name and select show all posts or show profile.
Having to deal with this makes staying involved with the forum very frustrating as well as aggravating. More than one time over the weekend I just walked away in frustration after trying to answer some threads and getting blocked with the continual login message.
This can’t be SOP I hope someone can help with this.
