Do NFL Players get another game check for Each Playoff game?

My girl was asking me this yesterday, and I was really unsure.

I know that some players have contractual bonuses built in their contract for playoff games or wins.... I read Tebow recevied a 250k bonus for his playoff win

But other than that... what about a league min. type of player, who makes $500k a season, which comes to 31k a game. If his team makes the playoffs does he make an additional 31k?

I am assuming no.... but wanted to ask

Yes. Each player on the gets a fixed amount. I don't know what the amount is currently in the nfl. Doesn't matter what your regular season salary, it is not divided based on that. Tom Brady and every other guy gets the same.

I believe it is based on how far you advance in the playoffs. All the revenues from tickets go into the playoff pool then split accordingly.

(you can still earn even if you got released during the season)

A player who qualifies will receive the following amounts for each post-season game played after the 2008 season:

Wild Card (Division Winner): $20,000
Wild Card (Other): $18,000
Divisional Playoffs : $20,000
Conference Championship : $37,500
Super Bowl (Winner): $78,000
Super Bowl (Loser): $40,000
