Too bad there isn't a catch the ball off of the top of your helmet rule.

I still don't recognize that win or the championship... Brady clearly choked IMO

The rule that will make Adam Vinatieri the second place kicker in the Hall of Fame, without that call, no place kicks in the snow.

So going to Pittsburgh and winning and beating the "greatest show on turf" in the big game means nothing huh?

You act like the only blown call in the history of the NFL occurred on that day.

Actually it was the correct call, just a bad rule. The rule was changed some time later.

I don't recognise the Raiders champonship in '76 when the phantom blow to the helmut on Ken Stabler by Sugar Bear Hamilton to hand over the playoff game to the Raiders on 3rd and long.

In my eyes Stabler clearley choked.

A minute later, Dreith made his call. Watch the play. Hamilton absolutely hits Stabler on the side of the helmet and in the facemask as he delivers the ball. But, as noted, the rules on hits to the head on the quarterback in 1976 were a lot looser.

''That should have never been a penalty,'' Stabler once told the Boston Globe’s Will McDonough. ''I got hit a lot worse than that in my career and it was never called. Hamilton just went for the ball and landed on me. That's all that happened.''

Either way, with the blown Villapiano call earlier, the ugly reputation of the Raiders as a band of renegades and their detestable young coach John Madden storming the sidelines (he didn’t become lovable until he got behind a microphone), the Patriots felt they’d been robbed.

It has not been changed to my knowledge. Most people don't know that the Patriots were on the other side of the tuck rule that same year, week 2 against the Jets and Testaverde.

Would have been a 15 yard penalty if the game was played today.

I was...not going to take their word as gospel. But if you called them to let them know than I believe it! :103631605

News to me Bruce. I'm sure the Tuck rule is still in effect and I'm sure I've seen it called more than once this year.

Dynasty? Not even close.

Adam Vinatieri was clutch no doubt but personally I don't respect the team. They are cheaters in the minds of many. They got caught once and paid for it. I doubt that was the first time they cheated and doubt they stopped cheating since. They are just better at it now. Personally, all their Super Bowl win have an asterisk beside it.

please...every team have their own secrets, it just took a rat of a coach to squeal. just like alot of college teams have infractions, its just how good you are at hiding it...

The team is a bunch of cheaters & have not won a thing since being caught for cheating. They beat St. Louis because they taped their walk through & Martz pussied out & changing his mind on his initial game plan.

Is it just me or does the face behind the mask in post #1 look nothing like Tom Brady at all?

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that the person behind the mask in post #1 is not the real Tom Brady.

But replacement players get used all the time so it's not a big deal. But can you at least get a guy that sort of looks like him??
