Heritage Payout - Check Returned - Need Insight/Help

Looking for assistance.

I recently initiated a payout from Heritage. I found the process to be a little frustrating but finally received a check about two weeks later. I deposited the check last Friday and it seemed to post, but today I see online from my bank that the check was returned.

My bank is unable to give me specific information, but they said a letter usually is sent explaining what happened. Heritage tells me they need either the check back or a legal document from the bank with a copy of the check. I can wait a couple of days to see if I receive anything from my bank, but this is extremely frustrating.

Has anyone ever had this issue? Any other thoughts from people in the know here?

yes i had it happen once and i had to send a copy of the letter from the bank that came a few days later. They reprocessed the payout and I had a new check within a week. It was not Heritage but another shop. It is frustrating for sure but most likely its a processor issue and they will correct it

it's scary sometimes to read about books bouncing checks

Hmm that is interesting I just deposited a check into my bank on Thursday from Heritage, and withdrew the money today. No issues, however it did take a long time to receive the check.

somehow Ive evidently had 6 wagers there where I thought were winners that I guess I put in the wrong side in and all lost. The latest one today cost me 300 bucks. Whats the odds of that...36 to 1 I think.

Man I got real shitty luck...maybe the next 6 times that happens I'll accidentally put in the winning side instead of the losing side that I wanted...

I guess its their software or page layout that seems to make it easy to put in the wrong side.. I did have one I put in I remember that I would have lost but accidentally put in the winner.

I requested a payout on Wed. It appears to be approved as my balance is now the amount minus the payout. When I go to the cashier nothing is pending. Only when I go to account history does it show the transaction. How long do I have to wait for the check. Will it arrive before the Super Bowl and will it clear my bank. What is going on with Heritage? This is the first transaction I have requested since the account was transferred from the Greek. I am up about $700 at Heritage and the majority of my money came from the Greek transfer. I wished I cashed out when The Greek had the account. I never took any money out because I never sweated The Greek. My total balance is under $5K I hope I'm not going to have trouble like the OP.

EXACTLY what "trouble" is he experiancing. A screw up w/the processor, Heritage PAYS!!!

I did not mean to leave this hanging nor do I want to blemish Heritage in any way. A legal copy of the check was sent to me early last week by the bank so I let Heritage know. They told me to deposit the check again, that there had been a mix up with their account. I deposited the check and the funds look to have cleared.

Appreciate the information shared with me in the above posts.
