Rapper 50 Cent wins $500K on bet

</cite> Rap superstar 50 Cent is $500,000 richer after placing a big money bet on the odds of the New York Giants making it to the 2012 Super Bowl.

The rapper-actor cheered on his team as they faced off against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday in the NFL playoffs, and 50 Cent was beaming from ear to ear after the visitors triumphed in overtime, beating the California team, 20-17.

The victory was made all the more sweet because it netted him bundles of cash

The rapper showed off the winnings in a photo posted to his Twitter page, alongside the caption, "Just watched a 500,000 dollar foot ball game... Some times I hear voices in my head they tell me thing. Like bet on GIANTS so I listen."

50 Cent plans to gift the money to his grandmother.

He tweets, "Street king baby I'm a king I do this. I'm giving this money to my nana she gonna faint... all she do is go to the church."

Next month's Super Bowl championship game will feature the Giants against the New England Patriots

Anybody wagering on sports is better than Charles Barkley. If only Charles would have asked for help from some of the sharps in Vegas, im sure they would for a cut of the profits but when you got a lot of money & are greedy, you think you can do it all.

I was listening to Teddy Covers on sportsmemo radio and he said Fifty and Mayweather were siting behind him at the M and they were not too happy with the Patriots game. So how much do you think he lost on the Patriots if he won that much on the Giants?

tweeted that his is looking for somebody to bet $5,000,000 against the Giants.

(He should make a trip to Vegas' MResorts I am sure that they will take his bet).
