I thought this may be interesting, sorry if I lack the standards some people expect.
Losing games happens often enough and when we lose we suck it up and regroup.
Something that’s tough to deal with is the losers that happen unexpectedly. You know the one’s we’re counting as wins until ????? Like running out of bounds when your team is running out the clock.
What are some of your favorites? Here’s one that got me this year:
I had Atlanta probably (-8) over Tenn (I know it was just over a TD.)
Anyway I have a 23 – 3 lead Mid 3rd Qtr. Tenn can't do a thing. Hasslebeck gets hurt and in trots Jake Locker his backup. Like I said Tenn is dead in the water all day but now with the backup in boom 40yd Td and it’s 23-10.
OK they play back and forth and finally Atlanta has a drive going. They are on the 7 going in. Looks like a TD but even a FG pretty much ices it for me. Next play fumble Tenn ball.
Well they still have to go 84 yds to score and with it being under 6 min I doubt they would consider a FG. Things still look good. It’s too late in the game for them to be kicking any FG’s.
Four minutes later they have driven the field score 7 bye bye JBucks. As a tease during the painful final drive they convert a 4th and 27.
Ya gotta love it!
