How to kill ants without chemicals ?

anybody know any home remedies to kill ants without using insecticide or raid foggers ?

I left a bowl of grapes sitting on the counter last night and woke up to a kitchen full of ants.

I've got to cook a big breakfast at 8:00 and dont want to contaminate the kitchen with chemicals.

I'm gonna try putting vinegar in a squirt bottle and spray them with that. ... anybody got any ideas ?

Never tried this but i think i read it on some tree hugging site... You take instant grits and put them all over the mound. Then you go back later and throw in a lil water. The ants eat the grits and when they drink the water the grits expand and blow them up.....

Get Terro. It works and kills ants. It's some goopy liquid you place in a piece of cardboard. The ants love it and they die.

I just left them alone and cooked around them. Then after everybody left i set off a fogger.

I did notice a couple crawling on one of the plates , but i just dropped a hunk of jelly on them and no one noticed.

Best thing to do is trace the ants back to their hill and leave corn meal around the mound. Kills them similar to grits.

Place your stereo speakers near the ant hill. Then put on a Michael Bolton CD. After a half an hour, the ants will kill themselves.

One has to be careful, may harm your own pets. This dog owner was playing one of Bolton's CD in his car......
