Phil Davis LARRRRGGEEE Tonight

I am going to get flamed for posting this thread obviously since everyone in the entire world thinks Rashad Evans is a stone cold lock. But i don't care...Line opened up @ Evans -150, and the line is now up to Evans -200. From a line movement stand point, this does not make sense at all. The oddsmakers knew they were going to get a butt load of Evans action from the get go. Line should have opened @ -200, and went up from there. So the oddsmakers sucked all the early bettors in to biting on the -150 opening line. It was set low for a reason, and they know something most bettors do not know. Here is my breakdown of the match. Everyone will probably disagree with my analysis but i know i am right so think what you want to think.

---Phil has better conditioning, stronger, quicker, better wrestler, longer reach, younger, and probably a bigger fight for him. Yes i know i know if Evans wins this fight he will have a chance at the title fight, but this is the biggest fight of Davis's early career. This could solidfiy him as a great UFC fighter. Rashad has had these type of chances already, and this may be once in a lifetime shot for Davis (probably will have another shot down the road but this could put a mark on his career).

---Rashad has more experience, and a better standup fighter.

Regardless of what you think, and i know if your reading this your thought is Rashad all day every day. That's fine with me, take Evans with the rest of the world. I will be taking Phil Davis +180 tonight LARGE!

I dont want to sound like i'm flaming any picks. But i really dont see what people saw in phil? Lil nog stuffed like his first 7 takedown attempts when they fought. Phils striking has never looked good. And did we really think he qas going to sub rashad? Radhad isnt some bjj ace. But hes been in the game for a while. Im no fan. But rashad has been a top 3 lhw for a while now. Was a huge step up in competition for phil. His whole game is secure the takedown and use his athleticism to work from there. Pretty hard to control a guy like rashad.

Best of luck next card. I think diaz is a similar play as the rashad play last night. He is just better than condit pretty much everywhere.
