Wagering one team all season?

I have been thinking about this for awhile now. I have thought about following my 'local' team and making wagers involving only that team. Basically all their games will be on TV and they are covered in the local newspapers and radio. I have always felt that watching a team has been a HUGE advantage when it comes to 'capping games, plus media coverage often offers insight that a casual obsever doesn't get. I am not a fan of my 'local' team so my wagers wil not be fan based. I was wondering has anyone ever done this before?

A few seasons ago I called fourteen straight wagers involving the Edmonton Oilers doing just this. Granted thats not normal, just using that example to prove that I can not be swayed by being a fan, as I am a Oilers fan and during that stretch wagered against them on a number of occasions.

thoughts...

I'm going to do this with the Dodgers and have setup a coorespondent network of guys who follow their teams..

Currently we have Dodgers,Giants,Braves,Rangers and Indians taken care of.. Need some more guys.

gyne, who is doing the other teams? Do you have their results betting those teams?

I'd be interested in following the Cardinals for you. I had a very good feel for them for most of the last year or three. This year there will have to be adjustments with a new manager but I still feel like I have a grasp on them.

I think if you follow teams strong enough you play the over/unders...

the juice on sides varies way too much.

agree on the totals CT. If you're playing dogs or plus money plays (run-lines) the juice can be a benefit to you. I think the biggest challeneges to doing this is staying focused and not to do any form of chasing. Thanks for the input.
