FROM GAMBLING911.COM NEWSWIRE:

7 OF LAST 11 SUPER BOWLS FEATURED BRADY OR MANNING AT QB

One of the most amazing statistics in sports is that during the decade of the 1980s, every NBA Finals that was played featured either the Los Angeles Lakers or the Boston Celtics.

The Lakers made eight Finals appearances during the decade and the Celtics made five.

And in three of those Finals they faced each other.

An equally stunning statistic has emerged in pro football, and Gambling911.com can be the first to report it: Including this Sunday's game, 7 of the last 11 Super Bowls have featured a Brady or a Manning at quarterback!

During that span, New England QB Tom Brady appears in five Super Bowls, New York Giants QB Eli Manning appears in two and Indianapolis Colts QB Peyton Manning appears in two.

And in two of those Super Bowls, there was a Brady and a Manning facing each other!

New England QB Tom Brady appeared in Super Bowl XXXVI in 2002, Super Bowl XXXVIII in 2004, Super Bowl XXXIX in 2005, Super Bowl XLII in 2008 and will appear Sunday in Super Bowl XLVI.

Eli Manning appeared in Super Bowl XLII in 2008 and will appear Sunday in Super Bowl XLVI.

Big brother Peyton Manning appeared in Super Bowl XLI in 2007 and Super Bowl XLIV in 2010.

In Super Bowl XLII in 2008, Tom Brady and Eli Manning squared off, and the pair will have a rematch Sunday.

As for championships, going into Sunday's game, Brady has won the Super Bowl III times in IV outings, while Eli is I for I and Peyton is I for II.

That means the championship total is Brady III, Mannings II.

So a win Sunday by Brady and the Pats will up his lead over the Manning Bros. to IV to II.

But a win Sunday by Eli and the Jints will even things between the clans, with Brady having III and the Mannings having III.

So Sunday's battle in Indianapolis will be for much more than the championship of professional football in America.

It will also be the continuation of a long but entertaining family feud.
