Jason Elia spent $8,000 for two tickets to Sunday's Super Bowl and was going to take his football-loving girlfriend.
But she broke up with him first. The reason? He has cancer.
Elia said that his girlfriend "could not handle the stress of having a boyfriend with cancer."
Now, she wants the tickets back, because he intended them to be for her.
Instead, Elia is going to give them away. He appeared on ESPN 97.5 in Houston and said he would give the tickets to whomever helps him get the most followers on Twitter.
Using #WinMyExsSuperBowlTickets, he has gained thousands of followers on his Twitter account so far.
He said it's not about revenge, but because he "wants to give someone the same enjoyment that he thought he was going to get with someone he loved."
The good news for Elia, he has an 87 percent chance of survival and has close to 10,000 followers on Twitter.

Maybe it is just where I live but most women these days all come across as being entitled. They all want the best things,feel they deserve someone who earns over 200K a year and they won't settle for anything less. Is it like this everywhere?

Yeah, it's something that needs to be stopped. Women's right's movement has gone to the other extreme. Now women are perfect while men are seen as dopes who can do no right.

Now that women have joined the competitive rat race with men, they're showing that they can be as greedy, selfish and conniving as men.

This is reflected in the mainstream media where women are no longer portrayed as perpetual victims.

Well , at least she didnt do like me and use him for the tickets and then break up with him.

When i was in the 11th grade of high school i started dating this girl that was wide in the hips and had a caboose. I liked the girl and enjoyed getting to 2nd base with her , but some of my friends started teasing me and called her buffalo butt , so with the pressure of my friends teasing me i decided to break up with her.

When i went to her house to tell her , she answered the door with news that her grandfather had given her tickets to the Iron Bowl and we were going. ... so i waited until after the iron bowl to break up with her.
