I read an article this morning which stated The American Atmospheric and Meterological Association actually did a study that cross checked the groundhogs predictions with the actual results of that particular year dating back to the mid 1980's. The groundhog was correct roughly around 15% of the time. Aren't you glad your hard earned tax dollar got down to the bottom of that one. We still love you though Mr. Groundhog.
