What a pain in the ass this is. I have a Sealy foam that is firm and 4 years old. Looking to upgrade to king size, but don't know what make/model memory foam mattress to get. You can research till you go blind. I was looking at vivon ($1400 for king with riser and free ship) and jameson foam, but who knows with them too.......Any ideas out there???:103631605

I got rid of my memory foam mattress, too firm for me and retained too much heat.

I purchased a quality regular mattress and bought a 4" foam topper for it.
Gotta say i sleep a whole lot better at night now.

Not sure about the Memory Foam mattress, but was Just talking about getting a New Mattress with the Wife the other Night. It's been 8 Years since we bought one and I went online to see what's good.

Well after looking at A) the Prices and B) How many DIFFERENT Mattresses there are... I Think I did go Blind !!

Prices range anywhere from let's say... $400 to $6,000 !!!!!! Like, WTF !

How could you tell what's Good and what's Not ? and $6,000 for a mattress ????
Will it Blow Me Every night before I go to Bed ?

I think picking a Mattress is going to be a LONG process !
and in NO WAY can one Buy one Online ! Going to have to go from Store to Store !

It Might be easier to Pick a Winner in Sports, than it would picking a Mattress !

^^^ Tried this. It was Ok. But I guess it's cheaper than Buying a Mattress.

I just stayed 21 days in Salt Lake and was sleeping on a sleep number at the hotel and fell in love. Going to get one very soon

They say when shopping for a mattress to lay on each one for about 20 minutes to know what the proper feel will be like.

I slept a few nights on a memory foam mattress and it was the best sleep I ever had. I was wanting to get one, but after the comments in here I am going to look into getting in the 4inch topper

I'm in the market for a new one also. When I moved out of my last place the movers had to bend my king in half to get it up the stairs....and it fucked it up. It's 10 years old, so it's probably time anyway. Agree w BAS, the price ranges is ridiculous. Can you tell the difference in a $500 and $1500 mattress? I'm not sure. I've been trying them out and haven't pulled the trigger yet. Was in Ikea earlier today and found a few nice ones....
