It's becoming a popular trend with these mothers trying to force their kids into signing with her school of choice, instead of letting the kid be happy and select his/her own school.

If you're put into this scenario, do you make yourself happy and sign with your school, or the one your mom prefers?

When Mom has a big dollar deal in place like Cam's Dad, and the kid screws it up and goes to another school, momma ain't happy.

Respecting mom and making your own decisions in life are 2 differnent things.

You have to live your own life.

I've seen too many people sacrifice their own happiness to make their mother/parents happy, especially in Hispanic culture...

hopefully you raise your children to make the right choices in life.

you can be disappointed that your child went to yale instead of harvard.

but what do you do if your child decides to DJ at a strip club instead of going to community college?

The LSU situation is a lil different. Lsu was days away from playing for the BCS and Mom was a huge bandwagon fan. The son decided not to go because of a certain reason that he will regret. Mom showed up with LSU gear on cus they live like 15 mins from campus and she never thought there was any doubt where he was going.....Sorry Mom to a 19 yr old kid pussy is more important than loyalty....
