more like 53, and that just made it all the better...she showed she's still got it...and didnt look too bad either...

I agree, VERY GOOD halftime show......u could actually understand the words, and the choreography went off without a hitch....LMFAO and C-LO were a nice addition as well..

Yeah that choreography....they had some tricky acrobatic stuff going on at times and it worked out for them quite well.

Yeah you could understand the words because it was all lip synched. I thought it sucked.

Man, I've never been in so much disagreement with a thread. I thought that lip-syncing cougar Madonna, like the game, absolutely sucked. Just like she did in the 80's. Now we have to deal with this same crap all over again with Lady Gaga. To be fair, the last 10 Superbowl halftime acts have sucked. So this was nothing new..But in my opinion, they would have been much better off inviting a good midwestern local boy from the state like a John Mellencamp to bring some rock and roll swagger to the show.

Wow...you thought the halftimeshow AND the game sucked? Crazy dude. What shocks me most is that you say Madonna sucked in the 80's. I can't understand that but to each his own I guess. Dammmmnnn

I agree w/your thinking about a local act,......

JCM would have been perfect for this game,......& when the hometown act is not appropriate......

Go with a mainstream band that can actually fucking sing their songs live

WRONG. Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers killed it a few years back. At least they actually sing and play instruments and put on a good musical performance. The other 9, yeah, probably all sucked. I don't even remember most of the acts.

Your right about Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers. I lost track of them amonst the prefabricated lyp syncing acts like the Black Eyes Peas, Janet Jackson, and that old dish rag we had to endure tonight.

Actually she didn't get paid. Neither did the black eyed peas last year. They do the halftime show strictly for the exposure.

Madonna reset herself firmly atop the Bar n Grill's most Want To Do Her List, knocking aside numerous contenders who have tried to seize the seat during past couple years
