I heard someone in Vegas had 1K on the prop “First Score is a Safety” @ 50-1
Winner to the tune of $50,000 ……. Nice!

Like to see it verified....Vegas books usually don't gamble that high on props like that one...

Something is wrong with that ticket. Not only aren't the odds right, I've never seen a prop of this type that mentions a particular team making the safety. The prop usually reads; "Will there be a safety during the game." And again, it wouldn't mention if the safety would be the first score. The prop would usually state, Will the first score be either a TD or FG or other."

The odds of a safety being the first score, and no less by a specific team would be astronomical. If a book ever posted odds of 50-1 on a prop like that, they'd be laughed at all over town.

My girlfriend and I went to Vegas last weekend to make some Super Bowl bets. The only thing she bet was that there would be a safety in the game. She bet 10 to win 70. Funny as hell when that happened.
