What ended up happening with BET ED?

Forgive me if I may have missed something but I was reading an older post and in it they mentioned Bet Ed......I used to play there before getting the boot.

I remember they closed up shop and got seized by gov........but did the players get paid who had money there?

I could tell you that there Was a bail out in the works....( a couple of them ) and people got greedy... where they wanted to Get Paid for the Customer List with Balances.

I Don't think Bet Ed was in any Position to Get "Paid" for a list, where they were Holding Other peoples Money.
