State of the Offshore Industry

I know there is a lot of complaining about the offshore industry over the last couple years, and rightfully so. We've lost some great outs ... Pinnacle, Matchbook, BetJam... and the biggest loss IMO was Neteller.

But it's not doomsday... In fact, I think the darkest days have passed. The legalization of poker would be a GIANT step in the right direction, and it's my hopes that move would make it easier to move money around for all of us....

Still, I have very pleased with the offshore industry thus far in early 2012.

In the last 30 days, I have had 6 withdrawals from 4 different books.

EZStreetSports, 5dimes, Heritage, and 1vice.

Customer Service was spectacular at all of them. The payouts were very good, quick, and hassel free. They were completely free at EZStreet and 1vice. And just a couple bucks at 5dimes and Heritage

Fastest Payout, just a couple hours at EZSTREETSPORTS
Slowest Payout Heritage (granted it was the largest amount too)

I don't have a single complaint with any of my offshore dealings. Things seem to be running smoothly. I know there was a report of Hertiage Check's bouncing. I got one less than a week after that was first reported here, and my check cleared with no problems.

Also, to the people behind the rumor and those that spread the rumor that Ezstreet was closing after the Super Bowl, I hope you enjoy your crow. It was a baseless claim.

I hope 2012 is a year of growth and security for the offshore industry. I look forward to trying JustBet around March Madness in hopes to add another solid out to my list after hearing a lot of good things about them.

If you could get Marty to come in here and address the Synbet situation, that would be a " state of the offshore Industry "

you are crazy. Getting Poker legal is not going to make it any easier for the offshore. I say it might even be tougher. Those companies and the Gov is going to want to protect themselves from the offshore books that will be a threat to them.

I know you are a Mod but please don't bullshit us. I thought that ended when Will left

No offense but you are wrong.

If Poker is made legal it can only make things easier as it will open up funding avenues.

I agree that Poker online will open up funding avenues as well. I still would never carry huge balances these days at books but i have never been paid out faster than i am now of course not counting net teller.

Oh I wasn't speaking as a behalf of a Mod... I was just speaking on personal opinion as a player... Like I've said, I've had quite of few withdrawals lately and things really went smoothly. I was just giving some positive news .. it wasn't some hyped statement to promote sponsors, I mentioned a couple books that aren't sponsors here. I was just giving an honest analysis of my dealing with a couple of places....

my statement about money being moved easier once Poker is legalized is speculation, but I do feel like it will make transactions easier... but that's not any hard fact, just my personal opinion

I forget about SIA.. love them too. great dog lines, and live betting galore... good to hear they are doing well. I know they don't take new US customers

I'd be careful who you talk up and careful who you say is eating crow. "After the superbowl" really isn't over yet. Yeah the synbet thing doesn't do much for the credibility of anything a mod here has to say. Major Scam job.

How do you figure. This is just dumb. Getting money to a legal pokersite will be as easy as using a debt card. How will that make it easier to get money offshore. You people are stupid.

Defying--------------------- from now on when you took the job as moderater you are posting as a mod........period. For you to post how things are looking up is stupid and insulting to all the members and forsure to the members that last thier money with Synbet. Please spare me.

Legal poker does not m ake it easier to fund offshore. You people that think like that are stupid

Right side might have mistyped a bit. All i am saying is that when i have requested payouts in the last six months most times i get them in less that 24 hours which is pretty fast in my opinion. Who knows what is going to happen if online poker every comes back to main stream US. You don't think there going to be more options to deposit and withdraw than there are now?

Fair enough, but when I withdrawal I don't get special treatment because I am mod. I don't think any book besides 1vice knows that I am. I know EZ and 5dimes doesnt.

I was just saying that 6 payouts and it was easiest its been in years....

And the argument of whether online poker would make it easier to move money, is purely speculation on my part. What's to keep lets say betonline from using their processors and say its poker deposits, and then put it in sportsbook. my thought is whatever the poker sites use for a processor, I imagine sportsbooks would piggy back.. but again, that's not fact. you could be right. But I just feel it would make it easier to move money.

95% of the ones trying to persuade others that Offshore is about dead are those who are local bookies or supporting them, and WANT Offshore to collapse.

Those who have a clue can see right through this...
