woke me up this morning, considered running out of the house naked but decided to go back to sleep since it wasnt bad enough to even knock things off the shelves.

I was half awake/half sleep and thinking if I should go to the gym (I went to bed last night watching the grammy's etc)

After that, I was awake and proceeded to pump some iron

Oh, you can feel it in a car alright. Nowadays almost all cars have radial tires which flex more than the old kind. If the earthquake is strong enough, you're going to feel it alright, especially if the road or bridge collapses under you.
