Will Be Starting Up A Fantasy Baseball League soon

since the season is longer and daily updates I am going to try to make this $100 buy in, but if everyone prefers $50, can do that also. It will be through yahoo, head to head each week. probably going to limit it to a max of 3-4 roster moves a week (just so people cant swap starting pitchers each day). exact # can be decided by those in league. pretty much standard scoring catagories.

hits, runs, rbis, steals, avg, walks, hrs, wins, k's, saves, whip, era

feel free to post in here or pm me with any questions. this will be like the 4th league i have run on here. if $100 and 10 team league, payout below. cut in half if $50.

kidman, FYI - file for possible use in next couple weeks:

A bunch of us who hide down in the Hockey forum will be organizing our own third consecutive year of Rx-related FBB and at this time it's an anticpated $50 buy in with a trusted member (vegasvic) to hold post up dollars.

Our goal will likely be 12, but it might be worth comparing participation by say - Mar 10, to see if there's any advantage in pooling the two ventures

And I assume that you mean adds/drops when you say rosters moves, not actually moving YOUR team members from the bench to playing....

also will this be a league that locks on Monday...in other words I wont be able to move guys in and out of the line-up day by day?

no fees after the $100 buy in. the max 3-4 moves a week is add/drop players. ive been in leagues where members will drop 2 players each day to pick up starting pitchers for the next day, so they end up with like 23 pitchers making starts in week compared to their opponent who might have like 11. this way a max of 3-4 moves a week kind of limits try to make lopsided matchups. i would like the league to be daily roster settings. you can ofcourse do days in advance if u dont want to look daily.

Perfect, thats how my leagues have been ran in the past...just a thought in order to stop guys from starting tons and tons of pitchers a week, I know (atleast on ESPN) you can limit the number of pitcher starts that a team has per week.

Last year in my other league it was 12 a week...but whatever is decided is fine by me...seems either would work out.

Depending on when the draft is I am in... (I will be in Vegas the 15th -22nd)
