Very interesting look at the trainer's life. It's sort of weird. He drives a Mercedes that cost about $156,000 but lives in a modest house. Financially he has done extremely well. Just the money from Manny P. alone has to be sizeable. He looks like he doesn't throw his money around. In Friday's episode one of his ex-fighters was trying to hit him up for some small money and Freddie didn't want to give it to him. He works out of that small decrepit gym but I think that's to make the boxers mentally stronger. If you have nice surroundings the boxers grow fat and lazy. You also need the gym close to where the fighters live. Freddie is looking for the next hungry kid to walk through the door and turn him into a champion. He has one guy working for him with one eye closed and the guy has obviously been hit so many times that he can barely put a sentence together. Freddie's brother is a drug addict who has numerous strokes and also can barely function. The show is certainly not an advertisment for boxing. With the damage Freddie has from Parkinsons that sport takes a toll as much as the NFL does to it's players. I think every boxer has some brain damage it just doesn't show up as much on some of them.
