Good. People will say he got off on a technicality but when that's your best defense, you use it.

Rodgers...really don't see how this proves he wasn't guilty, just proves that the process wasn't followed to a T. Atleast from what I'm reading all it really was was a technicality.

mr rodgers,

from a brewers fan POV (and not a TV analyst or a fan of any other team, from what you have read, could you describe to me why he's innocent.

(I'm not saying he's not innocent, obviously the bans been uplifted)

Can someone explain to me why he tested positive? He won his appeal by challenging the chain of custody of his urine sample, not the actual test results. According to a report I read, the courier charged with getting the sample the FedEx office on a Saturday instead stored the sample in his refrigerator for an extra day. I agree that was a botched job. That tells me you have some incompetent people running this testing procedure. That being the case, does it change the fact that the test was positive? Why was it positive? Did someone tamper with the test? Moving forward these questions need to be answered for the integrity of the complete testing procedure. Who is to say other tests were not bungled as well? Braun is the only guy to successfully appeal a drug test.

Let compare this one to J.C. Romero, Romero tested positive in 2009 for a banned substance. Romero appealed the decision and MLB acknowledged the supplement he was using was improperly labeled. They had hard proof that is was labeled wrong. But MLB said tough shit. It did not matter that the label listed all substances that were approved. They suspended him anyway. Why the difference? IMO, all this does is make you wonder of the credibility of all the past results.

does he look like a roid head? No. Roiders are huge from the waist up, Brauns big from the waist down. I have a few friends who roid it up, they have chicken legs with huge upper body. All I am saying he doesnt look like one, claims 100% innocent, even says he would put his life up on a bet saying non of those substances entered his body.

Will I know 100 percent positive if he is innocent, no, but ill give him the benefit of the doubt, its not like he looks like Mark Mcgwire or Barry Bonds.

The thing to look at in the future is, if Braun keeps up his dominance...which I have no doubt in my mind that the best all around hitter in Baseball will continue just that.

I don't think we'll ever find out the truth to the situation but for him to win the appeal for the first time ever might be pretty telling. While we we will likely never find out why his tests came out positive there is still plenty of evidence to prove his innocence, most of which he mentioned in his statement. I will always wonder why his test came up positive because that is pretty hard to explain and I'm sure many others will wonder that too. Here's a few things I've read about referencing to his innocence, there are plenty more but these were just some I remembered from that top of my head. I'm probably repeating info everyone already knows but oh well.

1). The procedure wasn't followed properly, there was absolutely no reason the courier couldn't get the sample to one of the many FedEx locations in the area that were all open during the time he held the sample. Experts have also said it would be very easy to tamper with the sample had anyone wanted to. While that probably wasn't the case its still worrying how this courier guy had absolutely no excuse as to why he held this sample for so long.

2). Braun's numbers have been consistent his whole career. His body size hasn't changed which is what happened with most of the other steroid users and his strength, speed, and power have all also been very similar his whole career. All of this information has been recorded for several years almost weekly.

3). Braun offered to give a DNA sample to the MLB to examine if they wanted to to help prove his innocence yet the MLB declined the offer.

I may not be the best at arguing haha but I believe he is a very genuine guy and I fully bought into his statement. I should probably mention I am also a Brewers fan so take my opinion how you want but unless some incredible facts do come out I will stand by his innocence.

he doesn't look like your typical roid guy
the testosterone levels were supposedly too high and unrealistic
the handling of the sample seems to have violated the validity of the test regardless if it was legitimate or not

He is probably innocent however he should sue because his name and reputation have been harmed in the whole process and he will always have this hanging over his head.
