first time ever in baseball.

I wonder if it was because an i wasn't dotted or if he really showed he was innocent.

its because the guy didnt send it in fats enough. instead of taking it to fedex the same day, he kept it in his basement over night. guess theres a max for how long you can hold the sample and he obviously exceeded it. also heard rumors that the only reason he failed was because he had an std and got a shot to fix it, thats the reason his test was negative two weeks later.

Apparently, the collector kept the sample in a tupperware container on his desk in his house for the week-end. He violated the collection procedure policy so Braun's lawyers were able to win on that. Supposedly, Braun did offer to give a sample of his DNA to MLB to determine whether or not it was his urine, but MLB declined.
