Socialite, actress and potential heiress to the Hilton Hotels fortune are just a few of the ways that Paris Hilton is known by the American public. However, nobody has ever labeled her a good blackjack player.
Maybe this will change though after a birthday trip to Las Vegas that resulted in $30,000 in winnings for the 31-year-od. Apparently, Hilton was at the Wynn Casino making some really big blackjack bets when she hit the $30k mark. What's interesting is that she is a blackjack beginner as alluded to by this tweet:
Just won 30k playing blackjack at Wynn Las Vegas! YES! Birthday girl's luck! I love gambling!"

$30,000 is chump change for Paris. She's said to be worth $100 million. Let's say you're worth $100,000. Winning $30,000 for her is like winning $30 for you.

this is a common misconception people have of the rich. Now granted there might not be a big difference to her between $1 and $100, or $500 and $1000.

but comparing $30,000 to $30 ???

ask her coke dealer if paris knows the difference between a $1000 and $5000 bag of blow

funny how you always hear about the big wins but you never hear a peep about anyone having ever lost at a Casino, wonder why.

I learned this from watching the classic movie, 'Casino'... :)

Though publicly traded, the chain was for most of its history led by members of the Hilton family from 1919, when founder Conrad Hilton bought his first hotel. 1996: Stephen F. Bollenbach becomes the first non-Hilton to guide the company; Hilton merges with Bally Entertainment Corporation.
