It's worth more than $1,000 but I'm much better with older US coins. I see some writing in ink on it which is distracting. With no research being done, I think at least $1,500. Check ebay and Heritage coin galleries for similar.

It's hard to tell by googling it - got them from a friend for 2k - he's had 50 of them - in the 80s and bank manager told him someone deposited em and he gave the bank 50k - he also got 3 10k bills this way - he thinks those r worth about 35k each

Your friend is a better man than I am. He had to of known those worth worth more than 1k. I would do anything in the world for my friends, but just handing them free money isn't one of them. (Unless of course they were in need!)
