Seeing the Sahara when I was in Vegas last week made me think about this again - with the new casinos being proposed in Massachusetts, what are the chances of Foxwoods or Mohegan having to close one of their hotels? Foxwoods is so big, but they're going to lose much of their clientele who come down from MA and points north.

Here's a photo of a proposed Wynn casino that would be connected to Patriot Place next to Gillette Stadium...

None-- enough play from NY--

Will Hurt the week day action some..

Highly unlikely, but the CT casino #'s are waaaay down b/c of Resorts World and Empire City in NY. They've been down 10% for the last 3 years now.

Yea, I do think the Sun has less to worry about, just because in terms of hotel rooms, it's significantly smaller... It'll be interesting to see what happens.

It is also easier to get to than Foxwoods is and has better concerts/shows.
