Not at all, 20 points and 13 Dimes lastnight. Melo is whats hurting the Knicks. He catches the ball and holds it forever and usually misses the jumpshot or layup.

Trade him another big man.

I agree, starting to think Melo might be a big part of the Knicks problem. Lots of talent but he messes up the flow of the offense and is weak on defense

Melo isn't the problem, Melo is an all star player who is adjusting to playng with basically a new team right now. Chandler has been hurt and Amare has really really regressed this year. Those are their two problems right now...

I dont think so... Remember how long it took for Miami's big 3 to get chemistry, and obviously thats more talent that NY has...

Melo, by many that know basketball, is considered the best offensive player in the game. no way he doesn't make this team better.

The additions of JR Smith and Baron getting healthy are huge for this bench. If they make the playoffs, you're not going to want to play them.

But to answer your question more directly, I think Lin is the long term answer to the Knicks. He is a very good PG and every team needs a reliable point

Sooner or later the chink in the armor would show up..lol..or he'd be a "bad driver" of the lane..if he got traded, it would be a bad fortune...is this politically correct??

Knicks are not close to being a dominate team in the league. Might as well be a street ball team playing together. Somebody has to choose the player they want to build around and start from there. It's hilarious that some would venture into the land of the big 3 with Lin, Melo , & Amare.

Knicks were beating bottom of the barrel teams when Lin started. He's a solid player but the Knicks aren't a good team.

Amare really looks bad, can't remember a player falling off faster than he has. This dude was top 5 MVP race last year and took a team to the conf finals the year before.

Yep. Real prob is that Knicks suffer the age old crippling disability of having more money than brains. Same as Dallas and Wash in football. No cure for the disease. But it is tons of fun to watch these organizations have their hair on fire and flame out year after year.

Still alive

Lin leads 3rd win in a row:

Lin, the NBA's first American-born player of Chinese or Taiwanese descent, made it seem almost like a Knicks home game. Hundreds of mostly Asian fans arrived an hour early and surrounded the visitor's entrance to catch a glimpse of their hero, many wearing his No. 17 jersey. During the game, he got the loudest cheers. Lin, who is still adjusting to the enormous amount of attention he has received, was taken aback.
