Lin-sanity's ebbing in with Jeremy Lin's New York Knicks skidding to their fourth straight loss Friday night. Now the Knicks have another problem: J.R. Smith is sorry for posting a racy photo of a scantily-clad woman on Twitter from his hotel room in Milwaukee where the Knicks lost to 119-114 to the Bucks last night.
The photo was highlighted by Deadspin as it winged its way around the Internet Friday night. Smith apparently tried to delete the tweet after the fact but it was too late, according to the Associated Press via the Wall Street Journal.
"I didn't know it was going to be as big deal as it is now," said Smith after scoring 3 points in the Knicks loss. "I definitely regret it. It takes away from our team. Anytime I do anything that takes away from our team, I'm definitely going to regret it."
