Track is tough, the ups and downs can kill you.. I've learned to bet smaller unless I have a horse I love.

Chasing, I dont do that anymore. But I used to really bad..

Looking too hard for value in horse racing , passing on the 9/5 fav that i feel sure is going to win b/c i'm too damn sharp to be a square playing chalk. Then instead of collecting a small payout , i lose my bet. ... I'm brilliant !

getting caught up in the hype of a big game like the Superbowl, NCAAF championship etc. Betting way more than I should.

Betting games that are on TV for entertainment. Thats a mistake I will always make. Although it doesnt cost me too much, cuz I dont do it all the time but I would still be better off if I avoided it.

I used to really press when I was winning. Now if I am up a good amount for the week I back down my bets. It has seemed to work. In the past by Sunday night would end up being negative.
