March Madness kicks off on Sunday when 68 U.S. men’s college teams are selected and seeded for this year’s NCAA tournament. This weekend, the focus is on the conference championship tournaments, which will help decide where the teams will be placed by the selection committee. The first games start on Tuesday, so here are some numbers to keep in mind when figuring out your bracket on Monday.

BRACKET MATH
9.2-quintillion to 1: The odds of picking a perfect bracket.
1.3-billion: The number of brackets each of the more than seven billion people in the world would have to fill out to cover all the possible combinations in a single year.
CONSISTENCY
22: The number of consecutive appearances by Kansas in the tournament, third on the all-time list behind Arizona (25) and North Carolina (27).
11: The number of titles won by UCLA, the most in tournament history.
2006: The last time UCLA was in the title game

0: Number of times a No. 16 has beaten a No. 1 seed.
16: The number of times the national final was won by 3 or fewer points.
4: The number of times a No. 15 seed has beaten a No. 2 seed in the first round.
40: The number of times a No. 11 seed has beaten a No. 6 seed in the first round.
14: The number of times a No. 11 seed has made it past the second round.
11: The lowest seed to reach the Final Four.
