OT: Buy/Sell stereo equipment

Have someone who is selling brand new in boxes: Parasound 2100 pre-amp and Parasound 2250 power-amp ($750 for the pair) and a Bose Lifestyle 28 with media center AV48 upgrade option ($1200). Would like to flip it, but who knows....

sounds like the white van scam.

brand name electronics made in china or oversees costs these guys pennies on the dollar (cuz its fake) and the packaging looks real.. then they sell it out their vans on the street and once the client buys 2k watts of power and it doesnt even sound as loud as a headphones, the guys already ran to next town or are nowhere to be found.
