Its over as far as I am concerned and no one is talking about why.....

HE IS GOING TO SIGN WITH TENNESSEE!

A competitor like Manning wants to stick it to Irsay and the Colts! What better way to do that than to sign with a team in the division.

The fact that he is familiar with the town doesnt hurt either, but Manning wants revenge!

ESPN busts in with breaking News.

Are you kidding me. Breaking News.

WTF happened to reporting. THis is worse than the Favre BS.

I still say he ends up in Tenn Chop............unless Denver blows him away with a $300 million contract or some carzy crap like that.

maybe so
Its one of the 2.
Miami already interviewing Matt Flynn
Zona has until the end of today to cut kobb

So if a deal is not done today those 2 teams will not be in the running.

I just can't see him being in Denver. Just doesn't make sense. I think he should wind up in a place that no one is talking about....Minnesota. Why not? Domed stadium with outstanding running back and good defense.

Manning wants revenge.

The deep inside motivatian.

Don't think so. He's a smarter business man than that.

I can't see Manning basing his decision on revenge. I could be wrong though. As a huge Peyton Manning fan I would love to see him go to a team with a solid defense and good running game so he can win another Superbowl. I think he's got one more in him.

if he goes to the 49ers...forget about it, just give him the ring.

Maybe. I like it but can't wait for the head butting between rookie head coach Harbaugh and Manning......And with Harbah being a formal NFL QB. Not liking any of this or how it will all play out. Would rather see Manning make a success at Denver OR Arizona.

i mean obviously nothing is a lock, but the 49ers would become the most complete team. and harbaugh would most certainly have to take a backseat...you just don't intervene on peyton manning's game, otherwise you lose your job.

C'mon its about money!! Who is gonna make sure those twins are playing in the nfl in 20 Yrs??? Ten is offering the most right now and with the reputation peyton has there , plus playing his college ball there not to mention being in the same division as the Colts, why not??

I don't see revenge at all. The Colts don't care about Peyton beating them 2 times a year. The Colts are rebuilding, they will be bad for the next few years. This was all about starting over for the Colts.

Manning is not looking at it like that either. Thats just petty to think like that. It would be no big deal for Peyton to beat the Colts twice. Hell the Colts might be happy to lose 2 games to Manning. They need good draft picks to help re build

I don't want him in the NFC so I am hoping for Tenn.

Great post.

The Colts and Manning was much different the Favre and Packers.

Night and day.

Manning is not mad at the Colts for not keeping him, and the Colts are not mad at Manning for leaving.

The truth is Manning wanted to leave the Colts just as bad if not more then the Colts wanted to get rid of him.

The Colts needed to rebuild with youth and had A Luck at there disposal to do that.

Manning wants to be able to play in a competitive situation the last 2 or 3 years of his career and had free agency at his disposal to do that.

Perfect divorce.

Manning still loves the Colts
The Colts still love Manning.

No hate from either side.

thanks Chop

people many times always try to find something that just does not exist. Even if Manning stayed the team was not ready to win. They were in cap hell. Look at how many they had to cut even with Manning not on the team.

It was time. Its as simple as that.

I was wrong as well. Sure thought it was Miami a month ago as they always had the MOST complete D, only lacking in big game coaching. Now I don't know. Tennessee is rebuilding on D. Denver is too, but showing something better, however Fox historically is a conservative HC. SF is now the most complete team, but was never sure Peyton wanted to be in NFC along with Eli.

I actually thought KC was another good home. Houston too, with a solid offensive HC and scheme and a real good DC.

Honestly, I just don't know how this will end up!
