Sean Payton suspended one year. Mickey Loomis 8 game and $500,000 fine. Saints fined $500,000 and a second round pick in 2012 and 2012.

I like it actually, its just more than I thought. Pretty sure I said in the other thread that the D Cordinator deserved an indefinite suspension... It's not so much about the play on the field, but more... You can't be in charge, and know about and condone shit like that.

nfl has to...they make rule changes every year to protect players and the saints have a bounty program...hes lucky it wasnt a lifetime ban.....and i like payton i thinks hes a good coach

Seems fair to me. This crime is worse than cheating for the integrity of the game. Peyton knew what was going on and did nothing about it. Similar to Joe Pa in actions. He better be glad he wasn't fired or banned. This falls on the head coach.
