Former New York Jets quarterback Joe Namath can’t believe that his former team actually traded for quarterback Tim Tebow.

“I’m just sorry that I can’t agree with this situation. I think it’s just a publicity stunt. I can’t go with it. I think it’s wrong,” Namath told 1050 ESPN Radio on Wednesday, per NFL.com. “I don’t think they know what they’re doing over there.”

You know things are really bad with the Jets when one of their most famous players of all time believes they don’t even know what they’re doing.

Namath is so 40 years ago. The more I hear guys like Namath saying things like this the more I want to see Tebow do well.

I think i see a conspiracy theory here so ill get it over with now.
They have put Tebow in NY so the media can use him to get ratings while at the same time destroying him. They fully expect that the NY media will have him crucified and hanging from a cross by opening day. If they can have a popular white Christian male destroyed on live TV it will do more to further their cause than anything they can do to Rush Limbaugh.

Ok, thats out of the way.......Carry On.

I figure he's going to run a wild cat type of offense when he does come to play QB. Isn't the offensive coach the former coach of the Dolphins who used to run it? I think they'll also use Tebow in goal line situations. You can bet he'll play.
