Tiger's odds are around 7/2, which is a horrible bet. Look for this to be won by a first-time major winner.

And whom might that be? I think your wrong. Rory, Tiger are playing some great golf. Phil too. Westwood could be a first timer or somebody like rose, I don't think Stricker has quite the firepower to win this years Augusta, but hard to count his putter out.

Im just not seeing where you think a first time major winner wins this years masters, considering the way the best players are playing. Westwood has the best chance of the first timers, the rest of them are pissing in the wind

I like mahan too, but he is a career choker. No way in hell he could maintain his game on the back 9 at Augusta with tiger, Phil and rory making the trees shake

Not if he plays like he has the last two events. And no, he won't win 2 masters in a row

Your right he probably won't win, but there is a decent chance someone outside the players you mention will win.. Stricker in my mind is a bigger choker then Mahan and has been choking alot longer.. I like Rory to win this tournament.. wouldn't be surprised if he runs away with it....

This year's Masters doesn't really have the look of a first time winner like last years Master's did. I see it as a 4 man race between Tiger, McIlroy, Phil and Westwood. I don't know if it will be here or not, but Westwood definitely has the game for this course. And he has rededicated himself this year, and is in the best shape of his life. So I think a major win is in his future. I just don't know if it's going to be here in Tiger and Phil's backyard. Luke Donald doesn't really have the game for this course. Mahan will be on many people's list after what he has done the last few weeks. But I absolutely hate golfers who come into this tournament off a win. I always automatically throw them out no matter how good they look. My gut feeling is it's going to be McIlroy or Woods. But if I was picking any players other than those two, I think I would go with a relative nobody. This tournament has a string of "out of nowhere" winners in recent years like Schwartzel, Zac Johnson, Immelmen, Cabrera. So I would pick somebody who is a ways down the list like a Jason Day, or a player who is good at hitting that high fade into the greens like Tiger.

Yea, good choice. It would not suprise me if rory and tiger make this a two man tournament, that's basically what I expect to happen. Maybe Phil or Westwood can join their party if they are playing out of their league. All I want for Easter is rory vs tiger in the final group on Sunday. If rory were to not choke in that setting vs tiger, I am willing to pass tigers torch to rory

Unfortunately, Jason day isn't very far down the list anymore

Saying only a few guys have a chance is insane. The PGA Tour is deeper then ever. Guys like Keegan, Webb, and Bubba can all win this thing. I like Choi and Sergio as a couple outside shots as well.

He's not. But relative to the heavyweights he's still pretty far down the list. I'm just not exactly sure how good his game is right now. Like I said, this year's Masters just doesn't have the longshot feel to it like it did last year. Tiger, McIlroy, Phil, Westwood are all playing terrific golf. It's hard for me to believe that at least two of those guys aren't going to have a great week at the course that suits their games the best.

Last year didnt have the feel of a long shot. EVERYONE was picking Mickelson coming in. He was on top of his game and had just won the week before.

Yea, I see what your saying. Day hasn't played that well this year. But you just never really know when these guys will show up or have their game together. He is one of my favorites, so I keep up with him the best I can. He doesn't do many interviews other than some quotes in an Australian newspaper now and then. Main reason I began liking day is because he isn't star struck out there. He isn't trying to be anybodys friend, just wants to play some golf. Day was living in ft. Worth up till last year. I have a buddy that works at colonial, day practices there. My buddy said day is a complete tool, but I like the guy...he kinda has a tiger attitude without tigers game....yet

This is def rory and tigers golf tournament to win. Phil and Westwood should be around there Sunday as well.
