HELENA, Mont. -- Two days after posting bail for drug and burglary charges, former NFL quarterback Ryan Leaf has been arrested a second time in Montana.

Leaf
Central Montana Drug Force Commander Chris Hickman says Leaf was arrested early Monday in Great Falls and is facing charges of burglary, theft and two counts of criminal possession of dangerous drugs. He also is being detained on a probation violation.
Hickman says the new charges stem from a burglary on Sunday -- two days after Leaf was arrested and charged with burglarizing an acquaintance's home for prescription painkillers.

Yeah, something like that. I think at that point the prosecuters just wanted to put the asshole away. He was a nuisance. I believe he also got into some kind of trouble before that in Florida for some kind of minor assualt. I can't remember what it was. But the dude couldn't help himself. With his mental instability he was going to get into trouble sooner or later..

What a roller coaster ride this guys life has been, cant get much higher than 2nd overall pick after peyton , and cant get much lower than breaking in and stealing to feed a habbit. I guess he could be sucking dick so there is still a bit lower....

What I can't figure out is how he scouts out the people with the pills. He seems to know which places to break into and where the pills are. Even if I'm starstruck and Leaf becomes my golfing buddy, I think that I'd know better than to advertise the fact that I have pain killers on hand in the medicine cabinet at home when I'm around him.

Does he pay a tipster at the local Walgreens or something?

Leaf was first arrested on Friday after police found oxycodone pills in his golf bag that an acquaintance later said Leaf stole from his home.

Right. He knew the guy from Friday's theft, but the people that he robbed yesterday had to pick him out of a lineup. How did he know that they had a stash of pills?
