St. Louis Cardinals ML +168 (3*)
The general perception of St. Louis right now is that they are no longer a good team because of the loss of Albert Pujols, but that is absolutely false. The Cards are still a very good team and are getting no respect with this line. I expect Kyle Lohse to start another nice season with a win over the Marlins. Josh Johnson hasn't pitched in a regular season game in almost a full year and I don't believe he is back at his top level of play yet. Give him a couple of weeks and then he will be that guy you think of that absolutely shuts teams down. I believe this Marlins team is going to be a pretty good, but will be overrated and will therefore give us some very inflated lines at least at the beginning of the season. I like the Cardinals to pick up a win in this one and get my MLB betting season started off with a big 3* underdog win. puff_>>
