Did not bet last nights game. I like Miami but just could not lay the juice. Seeing how St Louis dominated, it was a good thing I laid off the game.
Thursday’s Card
Atlanta -109 vs. NY Mets (single)……….Santana only an average pitcher anymore until he proves to me otherwise. Mets are the worst team in the NL East. Atlanta was the surprise team last year with how good they were, and I think that continues this year. Win or lose, -109 is a bargain.
Pittsburgh +157 vs. Philllies (single)……..Hard to go against Halladay, but he has not looked all that great this spring. It seems like the long ball has hurt him. I hate going against my phillies, but Pittsburgh always seems to play well vs. the Phillies. Pirates had a great first half last year and that should give them the confidence they need for their home opener.
That is it for today. Want to start slow with mostly one unit plays. You just don’t know how these pitchers are going to start the season.
