Not the start that I had hoped losing two one run games. That is why I am starting with one unit plays for the most part this opening week.

Tampa Bay +114 vs. NY Yankees (single)……….There is always value going against the Yankees. The line is almost always set higher since the books know people will be on them. You would think this game is at New York looking at the line. Between the home field and Shields is every bit as good as Sabathia, Tampa Bay as a dog looks pretty good to me.

LA Angels -1½ (+105) vs. Kansas City (single)…….I really think KC is in trouble. How is the world is Bruce Chen an opening day starter? Huge pitching matchup for LA. Not afraid of the runline either as the Angels will score plenty of runs this year. Would have to be crazy laying -200 in any game. If the Angels win this game, they will pound them. They will not win a one run game. I see them losing before that happens.

Essentially I have two dogs going and it will just take a split for a small profit with a pretty good chance of winning both.

That is all for Friday, not a full schedule. I don’t know why they give so many teams a day off this early. Does not make sense to me.

Good Luck Everybody!!

Same thoughts on Angels game. Not many games won by 1 run, let alone by a good offense and a great starting pitcher. looking at a 4-1 game
