No time for long writeups today, but I do have one early play:

Yankees/Rays - Rays +120(2 units)
Shields is lights out at home, and CC historically has not been spectacular on opening days.
2011 - 6 IP, 3 ER, 6 H, 2 BB, 7 K vs Detriot
2010 - 5.1 IP, 5 ER, 6 H, 2 BB, 4 K at Boston
2009 - 4.1 IP, 6 ER, 8 H, 5 BB, 0 K at Baltimore
2008 - 5.1 IP, 5 ER, 6 H, 3 BB, 7 K vs Chicago Sox
2007 - 6 IP, 3 ER, 8 H, 1 BB, 2 K at Chicago Sox

Adding:
Dodgers/Padres over 6 (2 units)
This initially wasn't on my radar until I looked at Billingsley's spring numbers (0-1 5.91 ERA). It's tough to look pass the fact that neither team has a very intimidating lineup, however, this pitching matchup is far from stellar. Luebke is making another appearance in the starting rotation after finishing the season in the bullpen. And with minimal sample size, some of the Dodgers lineup (including Kemp) have had success against him. Although a pitchers park, I think 6 runs isn't too much to ask for here.

Dodgers/Padres over 6 (2 units) - push

1-0-1 is not a bad day, however, only needing one run in 4.5 innings to win rather than push is a bit of a disappointment..

Anyway that makes the season's record 3-1-1 (+2.7 units). I'll be back tomorrow with a pick or two. Let's keep the winners coming!
