Question...I've never bet baseball in my life

I was going to put in a bet today and there was a tab that said "action goes" and it appeared i caould select a pitcher. Do i have to select a pitcher and if i don't what the difference if i do or dont? thanks

if you select the pitcher, and that pitcher doesnt pitch, bet nullified. if you dont select, and that pitcher doesnt play, the bet will still count

if you select a pitcher or pitcher they have to start the game and throw a pitch in order for your bet to go...if one or both don't go depending on who you name, you have no bet...

if you bet action you get the line and the bet when you made it....if there is a pitching change you still get the game but the line could change one way or the other as the odds are set by the pitching matchup...

usually this is not a factor until the end of the season....however due to sickness you will see it happen a few times during the season

if you place a run line bet and there is a pitching change or you play a total and there is a change your bet is canceled no matter what as both pitchers have to start and the game has to go 8.5 innings if the home team is winning
