CORCORAN, Calif. — Aging mass murderer Charles Manson did not show up for his 12th — and likely his last — parole hearing in California.

The 77-year-old had said he did not plan to attend the hearing Wednesday, even though it could be his last opportunity to ask for freedom.

Under current law, inmates can be denied the chance to reapply for parole for up to 15 years, so Manson could be 92 before he's eligible for another hearing.

Manson's notoriety stems from one of the most gruesome mass murders in American history, the 1969 slayings of actress Sharon Tate and six others.

Tate's sister, Debra, told The Associated Press she planned to attend the hearing.
Attorney DeJon Ramone Lewis, who was appointed to represent Manson, said his client has refused to meet with him.

Elvis has a better chance of performing in Vegas next week than Manson does in getting paroled.

turn the old guy loose.

announce it on the news.

"At twelve noon Charlie will be set free at the corner of main and 2nd".

he would be shot within 2 mins.

That way we get the pleasure of having him in jail for 50 years, AND seeing him get killed.

A two fur.

Turn him loose and let him go tour with the Beach Boys one last time. He always wanted to be in the band.

Manson has been cited twice for having smuggled cellphones. Authorities found he had been talking with people in California, New Jersey, Florida, British Columbia, Arkansas, Massachusetts and Indiana.

The phone numbers were traced, but Department of Corrections spokeswoman Terry Thornton said she could not disclose who received the calls.

You know Manson never did work well and play with others but I will sleep well tonight with one less crazy mother to have to deal with in society. Thank you Department Of Corrections.

Manson never actually murdered any of the victims himself. Tex Watson is the one who told the girls what to do.

Die behind bars you m'fer!

This guy is nothing special. He a superstar by the figment of of Hollywood movies and press.

Was hoping more for a mopstick shoved up his ass and a couple of makeshift knives stabbed down his eye sockets kind of death...

Burn in Hell forever and get fvcked in the ass by Hitler you piece of shit.

Not a fan of this garbage people still hang on to as being "somebody" back in the late '60's.

The media, general public, and every second rate writer made a living off this guy. No one mentions the monster that was and still is Tex Watson. Bruce Davis that chopped up Donald Shea might be out soon, and Charlie who never killed will die in jail. Vincent the bug won in the end with lies, people who believe his book are fucking stupid
