So far this year there have been 18 instances where a team has been shutout. 13 of them have come back and won the next game. Does anybody have the stats from last year and is this a good trend to follow?

FYI today we have Philadelphia and Oakland.

It looks like teams have been shutout 19 times in 2012 and are 12-7 the next game. Teams playing at Home are 6-1 and Away is 6-6. Historically, there appears to be a small advantage to playing the Home team with a SU record of 545-468 but when you factor in an average line of -123, it actually shows a loss. Philly is at home and -195 and Oakland is on the road and +104. Overall, it could be streaky but there appears to be no value. Good luck if you play.
